Yong Liu

Research Assistant Professor

Dr. Liu is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, and also a member of CURENT research group. He earned his Ph. D. degree in Electrical Engineering (power system direction) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2013 and authored/coauthored over 20 referred publications. His research interests include wide-area monitoring, power system dynamic analysis, large-scale power system simulation and renewable energy integration.
