Industry Advisory Board
The Center's Industry Advisory Board (IAB) is composed of representatives from each principal and full member company. Its leadership team consists of the chair, one vice-chair, and one secretary elected by the full IAB. The Board meets in person at least once per year during the annual NSF site review, and quarterly via web-based teleconferences.
Key IAB functions include:
- Advice on research directions and annual funding and other resource allocations for the Center and its research thrusts
- Discuss invention disclosures and make decisions on patent actions using IPPF
- Organize annual industrial analysis and report on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) for the Center.
During the regular IAB meetings and teleconferences, status updates are provided by the Center leadership to obtain timely feedback and advice from the Board.
