CURENT Power and Energy Industry Seminar Series
The monthly Industry seminar is now called the Power and Energy Industry Seminar (formerly the SLC Industry Seminar). The Power and Energy Industry Seminar invites CURENT students, industry leaders and academic experts to participate in monthly seminars at the center's lead institute, the University of Tennessee. These industry seminars are typically on the last Friday of each month from 12:20 pm to 1:10 pm and usually available for those offsite through ZOOM, WebEx or Webcast. Many of these seminars are recorded as well. The seminars cover a variety of topics related to the ongoing research and technical development of the nation's power grid.
Emails will go out a week in advance about the speaker and topic and the seminar will also be announced on the CURENT website in News and on the CURENT calendar. Again, most presentations can be streamed live or downloaded for future use. Here is a catalogue of the recorded seminars.
Due to certain scheduling opportunities, some seminars may be held at times other than the last Friday of the month.
Recorded Seminar Catalog
A catalog of all the Industry Seminars that were recorded by UT's OIT department are listed on this page. A list of the recorded seminars can be found below.
