Get your submissions ready!
It's time for the 2015 Perfect Pitch Contest and all CURENT students are invited to submit their ideas. The Perfect Pitch competition is a 90-second, one-slide presentation meant to convince investors and others that your idea is worth pursuing.
Contestants use the 90 seconds and one graphics slide to introduce the problem, explain their solution and describe the impact of their research. Each year, the NSF hosts an ERC-wide Perfect Pitch competition and each ERC sends one representative to compete in Washington, DC for a grand award of $5000. It could be you!
In order to decide CURENT’s representative, we will be hosting an internal Perfect Pitch competition at UTK. Students from all schools are welcome and encouraged to compete. Presentations from students and partner schools will be done over WebEx. First place will receive a trip to Washington, DC paid for by CURENT. Second place will be listed as an alternate. In addition, the top three presentations will win awards supplied by the SLC (stay tuned for an announcement on the awards!)
