Dr. Daniel Constinett welcomes three new graduate students to his power electronics groups. They are Jie Li, Chi Xu and Gabriel Gabian. Jie Li is from China and graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University with a B.S. in Engineering. Jie is studying power electronics applications. Chi Xu is from Jiangxi Province, China. Chi recieved a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China and earned a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University in China. Chi is going to study high efficiency and high power density power converters and is interested in hgh power density and high efficiency battery chargers and wide band gap device applications. Gabriel Gabian is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires with a degree in Electronic Engineering. Gabriel will be researching high current integrated power converters for charging batteries and is also interested in analog IC design.
